1. BASIC EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT: In order to basically qualify, you must possess at least a four (4) year degree or possess a combination of education and experience. Select the one statement that best describes the education that you possess that demonstrates your ability to perform the work of Title 10 Faculty Member (Supervisory) at the AD-1701-00 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal Service. (NOTE: You must attach copies of all your transcripts to your application, if you fail to attach all your transcripts your application will be incomplete and you will be removed from consideration for this position).

A. I have a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university in education or in a subject matter field appropriate to the position. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)

B. I have a 4-year degree that was supplemented by at least 24-hours in education and training.

C. I have a combination of education and equivalent experience related to the position, I possess a combination of education and experience - courses equivalent to a major in education, or in a subject-matter field appropriate to the position, plus appropriate experience or additional course work that provided knowledge comparable to that normally acquired through the successful completion of the 4-year course of study described in A above. I have computed the percentage of the requirements that I meet, and the total is at least 100%. (To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. 2. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT: This position REQUIRES the incumbent to possess a Master's Degree or higher degree from an accredited college or university. Please select the one statement that best describes the education you possess that demonstrates your ability to perform the work of a Title 10 Faculty Member (Supervisory) AD-1701-00 at the AD-1701-00 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal Service. (NOTE: You must attach copies of ALL your transcripts to your application, if you fail to attach of ALL your transcripts your application will be incomplete and you will be removed from consideration for this position).

A. I have a Master's degree from an accredited college or university.

B. I have a Master's degree and I am working toward my Ph.D., or Doctorate from an accredited college or university.

C. I have a Ph.D., Doctorate, or higher degree from an accredited college or university.

D. I have not obtained any of the degrees listed above.

3. Select the one statement that best describes the specialized experience you possess that demonstrates your ability to perform the work of a Title 10 Faculty Member (Supervisory) at the AD-1701-00 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal Service. I have at least one (1) year of current specialized experience in one of the following areas: joint assignment or joint/multinational operations; operations or planning at the brigade, division or higher operational level; teaching command and/or leadership to military officers; teaching military history to military officers; force sustainment at the division or higher operational level, that will equip me with the ability to lead a multi-disciplined team of 12 faculty members teaching ten-month resident CGSOC.

School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS) graduate preferred. Counter-terrorism and/or counterinsurgency experience desirable. Regional experience in a combatant command (AFRICOM OR PACOM) is desirable. You MUST attach a copy of your college transcripts or a DD214 Member Copy 4 showing the course under the education portion before the closing date of this announcement; if you fail to attach your transcripts or your DD214 Member Copy 4 your application will be incomplete and you will be removed from consideration for this position.

B. I am NOT an Intermediate Level Education (Command and General Staff Officers Course or other service ILE course) Graduate; achieved Military Education Level 4; Joint Professional Military Education 1 (without waiver).
