1. TIME-IN-GRADE RESTRICTION: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements. Applicants must have held the GS-5 grade or higher for a year in order to meet this requirement for the GS-6 level of the vacancy. 2. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: This section includes questions about the qualifications for each grade level of this vacancy. Do you possess one (1) full year or more of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of Program Support Assistant (Timekeeper) GS-6 position? To be creditable, this specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-5 level in the Federal service to qualify at the grade 6. Specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that are typically in or related to the position to be filled such as a clerical and administrative support position in a medical, surgical, or hospital setting and which has equipped the applicant to perform such functions as maintaining files, records, and correspondence, preparing correspondence, statistical graphs, logs, and reports, and performing as principal timekeeper. NOTE: Evidence of experience must be supported by detailed documentation of duties performed in positions held. Please provide such documentation in your application or resume. Also please provide work experience information such as hours per week and starting/ending dates of employment (month and year format) to establish one (1) full year of experience. (limit characters)

Current TVHS employee: This position is open only to current, permanent employees of Tennessee Valley Healthcare System .An employee serving on a Title 38 [38 U.S.C. 7401(1)] or Hybrid Title 38 [38 U.S.C. 7401 (3)] appointment who is eligible for conversion to competitive service positions under VA interchange agreements; with at least one year of continuous service.
