1. At the GS-12 grade level, You must possess one (1) full year of specialized experience, which has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the Human Resources Specialist position. One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade within the federal service (GS-11), which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required. 4. Skilled at applying knowledge to a variety of difficult and complex work assignments. Assignments include explaining recruitment and placement processes, T5, HT38 and T38 compensation,rules, regulations, laws and suggesting crediting plan changes and methodologies, as well as determining and developing equitable special salary rates and Locality Pay Schedules for nurses. 5. Ability to clearly communicate both orally and in writing to present policies and findings to make recommendations. (limit characters)
6. A broad base knowledge of agency organizational structures as it applies to position allocation, job series, qualifications and job skill requirements. (limit characters)
