Carry out disease control/prevention studies from conception to completion with minimal input from supervisor.

Design a study to improve on current prevention methods for infectious diseases.

Apply knowledge and skill in the application of entomological, ecological, molecular, immunology, biochemical or genetic tools related to laboratory and epidemiologic studies and the development of new strategies for the control of infectious diseases.
