Eligibilities
1.
Are you a current U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement employee with competitive status on a career or career-conditional appointment within the local commuting area and assigned there on a permanent basis?

Time in Grade
1.
There is a time-in-grade (TIG) requirement for promotion into this position. Have you completed one year in a position at or above the GS-13 grade level?
Full Performance Level
1.
The full performance level (FPL) of this position is a GS-14. Applicants who have permanently held a position with a full performance level equivalent to GS-14 or higher in the competitive service can be referred for selection without competition under our agency merit promotion procedures. Please provide an SF-50 to prove your claim. Without an SF-50 as proof, we cannot apply non-competitive rules. Military rank, details and temporary promotions do not count.
The SF-50 submitted MUST indicate the same full performance level (or higher) equivalent to the full performance level (GS-14) shown on this vacancy, career or career-conditional (Tenure 1 or 2), and the status as a competitive service employee (Position Occupied is 1).

To qualify as a GS-1801-14 Supervisory Technical Enforcement Officer, you must possess at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 performing duties such as: 1.) Experience as a subject matter expert (SME) in the installation and operation of technical surveillance and communications intercept equipment used during investigative, enforcement, and intelligence operations; AND 2.) Experience managing an agency-wide technical surveillance and communications intercept equipment program; AND 3.) Criminal investigative knowledge and/or experience to determine the type of electronic surveillance equipment best suited for a particular criminal investigation.
