1. 2. Applicants must be a graduate from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association in possession of a J.D. or LL.B. degree (law degree) and must be an active member in good standing of a state, territory of the United States, District of Columbia, or Commonwealth of Puerto Rico bar. 3. Do you possess each of the Mandatory Technical Qualifications (MTQs) as listed in the Job announcement? If you do, did you upload your MTQ written statement (narrative) that does not exceed eight (8) pages?
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and conducting reviews, evaluations, or inspections of federal law enforcement agency programs and operations, including planning and scoping, leading to a final written report.
  • Demonstrated experience in producing and managing the production of written reports addressing complex and technical issues and that provide clear, accessible, and well-organized fact-finding, analysis, findings, and/or recommendations for corrective action.
  • Demonstrated experience in making oral presentations to senior Federal agency officials, senior managers, and external stakeholders regarding planning, progress, and findings of work.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply skill in and knowledge of Federal law and regulations, government operations, quality standards and the role and mission of Offices of Inspectors General.

Unless you are currently under a career SES appointment, are eligible for reinstatement into SES, or have successfully completed a SES Candidate Development Program approved by OPM, you must submit written statements (narrative format) describing accomplishments that would satisfy the ECQs. If you fail to do so, you will be rated as 'ineligible.' You must limit your narrative to two (2) pages per ECQ, ten (10) pages total.
