Eligibilities

Are you an employee of the facility indicated for this position?
This includes: Career/Career Conditional or Excepted Service (i.e. Canteen, Hybrid, Title 38, etc. and meets interchange agreement requirements). This does not include temporary, term or temporary intermittent.
To verify your eligibility, you must submit a copy of your most recent Notification of Personnel Action, Standard Form 50 (SF-50). Your SF-50 must include enough information to be able to determine that time-in-grade requirements have been met (if applicable) and include your position title, pay plan/series/grade, tenure and the type of appointment (i.e. Competitive or Excepted). Please be aware that award SF-50's do not always include this pertinent information.

Keep work area, equipment and materials clean, sanitary, neat and in order.

Applies special procedures and sanitation principles necessary in preparation of tube feeding to prevent bacterial contamination.

Use cleaning, disinfecting and sanitizing agents for the dishwasher and pot machines.

Prepares individual and bulk nourishments.
6.
Monitors patient trays in the kitchen and at the point of service for temperature, time of delivery, accuracy and patient satisfaction.

Transport patients RS trays to the units.

Provides final check on patient trays to verify the food items are correct for the prescribed diet.
9.
Make precise measurements and accurately weigh recipe ingredients for special feedings.
10.
Knowledge of how to maintain all storeroom, reach-in, walk-in refrigerators, freezers and dishwasher temperature logs as directed.
11.
Ability to timely and accurately process tray tickets to expedite delivery to patient.
12.
Knowledge of how to timely use tray tickets as notification to start a new patient meal tray.
13.
Utilize scripting when delivering patient trays into the room to provide excellent customer service to the patient.
