Related experience includes: performing all the functions of food service work in a quantity food service setting (restaurant, hospital, or other institution); Arranges computer generated patient tray tickets in proper order for tray line; Generates late tray reports to ensure that all customers/patients are appropriately fed; Conducts final check of meal trays that have been assembled by lower grade associates to ensure accuracy and completeness; Uses knowledge of modified diets to make additions, deletions, and corrections to nourishment, standing orders, and food preference lists as needed; Answers menu questions, reports process and quality issues to management; Uses knowledge and understanding of common food allergens to recognize discrepancies in menu offerings to help ensure patient safety; Follows food safety guidelines for storing, holding, and serving foods at proper temperatures.
