B. I have combination of education and experience: courses equivalent to a major in economics, as shown in A above, plus appropriate experience or additional education.

C. I do not possess the education and/or experience described above.

2. From the descriptions below, select the one which best describes your education and meets the qualification requirements for Economist, GS-0110-11.

A. I have one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service researching and analyzing large data sets related to healthcare; developing data collection tools; and developing and presenting technical or analytical reports on health policy, health services research, or health economics.

B. I have three years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree or Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in economics, that included at least 21 semester hours in economics and 3 semester hours in statistics, accounting, or calculus. One year of full-time graduate education is considered to be the number of credit hours that the school attended has determined to represent one year of full-time study. If that number cannot be obtained from the school, 18 semester hours will be considered an academic year of graduate study.

C. I have a combination of experience as described in "A" above and graduate education as described in "B" above.

D. I do not possess the experience and/or education described above.

A. I have one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service researching and analyzing large data sets related to healthcare; developing data collection tools; compiling and analyzing relevant health care data sets, and making sound recommendations; developing technical or analytical reports and present technical findings to various audiences on health policy, health services research, or health economics.
