Coordinate to assign user IDs for all staff and new employees who will perform EKGs throughout the medical center and CBOCs.

Enter VISTA workorders to Bio-Medical Engineering to troubleshoot any issues that arise with the MUSE and EKG machines or any other IT or maintenance issues identified in the clinic areas.
5.
Perform administrative duties as assigned (i.e. secure messaging, returning phone calls, ordering supplies, etc.
6.
Perform complex age specific nursing care for adult and geriatric patients with a variety of physical, mental, behavioral or psychological needs.
7.
Serve as liaison with Bio-Medical Engineering to troubleshoot any issues that arise with the EKG machines.
8.
Receive and/or work to resolve all customer complaints and refer unresolved complaints to supervisor as needed.
9.
Obtain and record accurate vital signs (height, weight, temperature, pulse, respirations, and blood pressure) as required.
10.
Identify irregularities in patient cardiac rhythm as required.
11.
Set-up patients for exams/procedures by explaining the purpose of procedures and insure patient understanding.
12.
Assure all consults for Holter monitors and EKGs performed are acted upon in a timely manner (within seven calendar days).
13.
Ensure there are no employees performing EKGs without user ID.
14.
Manage the MUSE database system through authentication audits and corrections for final upload into the EMR.
