Specialized Experience at the GS-07 - To qualify for this position, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05 level OR 1 full year of graduate level education OR superior academic achievement OR a combination of experience and education as described above. A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05 level. Examples of specialized experience include: Serve as fully independent advisor within geographical area of responsibility in accomplishing all objectives of the Soldier & Family Readiness Program (SFRP) for the Army National Guard to maximize retention and readiness. Manages and operates family assistance center and provide assistance to commands within geographical area of responsibility in support of the SFRP. Provide training and technical support to Commanders and Family Readiness Liaisons to support their Unit Family Readiness program and Soldier & Family Readiness Groups (SFRGs). Submit information to support development and budget forecasting to support the Soldier and Family Readiness Support Program to higher headquarters.

OR

B. Superior Academic Achievement (It recognizes students who have achieved superior academic standing) OR 1 full year of graduate level education. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. One year of full-time graduate education is considered to be the number of credit hours that the school attended has determined to represent one year of full-time study. If that information cannot be obtained from the school, 18 semester hours will be considered as satisfying the one year of full-time study requirement.
**NOTE: In order to qualify for this position using education or Superior Academic Achievement, you must submit a copy of your transcripts.

OR

C. A combination of experience as described in "A" above and education as described in "B" above. Only education in excess of that required for a Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree may be used when combining education and experience to meet the total qualification requirements.

Specialized Experience at the GS-09 - To qualify for this position, you must have at least 1 year equivalent to at least GS-7 OR master's or equivalent graduate degree, 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree, LL.B. or J.D., if related OR a combination of experience and education as described above.
