Specialized Experience: OPLA will evaluate eligible candidates based on the following criteria: OPLA will rate qualified applicants by comparing each candidate's qualifications to those pertinent to the position. OPLA will consider relevant skills and experience, education and training, performance, and awards. The skills and experience listed immediately below are of particular importance to the position, and applicants should provide specific detailed information in these areas, where applicable, as part of their application. For this position, specialized experience is the ability to:
(1) Coordinate the workflow and legal review of tasks assigned.
(2) Complete legal sufficiency reviews for those tasks assigned directly to the attorney, to include executive correspondences, requests for information on immigration enforcement policies, and congressional inquiries.
(3) Manage specific portfolios, including general audits with the ICE Audit Liaison Office, and audits by GAO.
(4) Coordinate responses to Congressional notices and updates, Congressional private bills, and Questions for the Record (QFRs).
(5) Work with the ECU team to develop and enhance efficiencies in document management and clearance procedures for the assigned tasks.
(6) Identify significant or noteworthy tasks for OPLA senior management awareness.
(7) Other special projects as assigned.
