1. Basic Requirements:

Do you meet the basic requirements as listed below? (You must provide a copy of your unofficial transcripts).

A. Degree: that included 15 semester hours in statistics (or in mathematics and statistics, provided at least 6 semester hours were in statistics), and 9 additional semester hours in one or more of the following: physical or biological sciences, medicine, education, or engineering; or in the social sciences including demography, history, economics, social welfare, geography, international relations, social or cultural anthropology, health sociology, political science, public administration, psychology, etc. Credit toward meeting statistical course requirements should be given for courses in which 50 percent of the course content appears to be statistical methods, e.g., courses that included studies in research methods in psychology or economics such as tests and measurements or business cycles, or courses in methods of processing mass statistical data such as tabulating methods or electronic data processing. OR

B. Combination of education and experience -- courses as shown in A above, plus appropriate experience or additional education. The experience should have included a full range of professional statistical work such as (a) sampling, (b) collecting, computing, and analyzing statistical data, and (c) applying statistical techniques such as measurement of central tendency, dispersion, skewness, sampling error, simple and multiple correlation, analysis of variance, and tests of significance.

3. Perform long-range planning and analysis of new substantive agency programs where precedents are scarce or nonexistent. (limit characters)
4. Develop operations and procedures for the collection, editing, verification, and management of statistical data. (limit characters)
5. Perform statistical analyses of administrative and survey data. Designing and executing these analyses based on the application of statistical theories. (limit characters)
6. Maintain control of full study design including assisting EEOC staff in developing the generally stated project objectives into clearly defined specific study questions, study populations and/or samples and appropriately defined outcome measures. (limit characters)
7. Apply advanced higher level mathematical, statistical or data science principles and methods to complex technical problems. (limit characters)
8. Provide analysis plans, protocols and regulatory documents as needed, and summarizes results (i.e. tables, figures and listings) for inclusion in presentations or reports. (limit characters)
9. Perform analytical studies and develops new processes to improve methods. (limit characters)
10. Identify what data is available and relevant, including internal and external data sources, leveraging new data collection processes. (limit characters)
11. Provide on-going tracking and monitoring of performance of deployed decision systems and statistical models. (limit characters)
