Are you a current or former federal employee displaced from a position in a federal agency other than the agency hiring for this position? If yes, confirm:

This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required. Are you willing to undergo pre-employment and recurring investigations to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance as required?

The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles. This is a Term position scheduled to last 3 Years. A term position may be extended to a maximum of eight years depending upon the needs of management. Are you available for term employment?

This position require the incumbent to obtain and maintain Instrument Examiner (IE), certification within 1 year of entrance on duty. I am willing and able to obtain Instrument Examiner (IE), certification within 1 year of entrance on duty.

Present classroom instruction and training using approved training aids and lesson plans IAW AR 95-1 Aviation Flight Regulations and Air Crew Training Manuals.

Follow approved lesson plans to ensure course material is delivered to CH-47 Military Pilots.

Conduct briefings, practical exercises, lectures, and other activities as it relates to flight simulation training.
5.
Use instructional techniques to adjust delivery of material to course participant needs.
6.
Develop course learning aids to accommodate different learning styles.
7.
Develop Training Support Packets, lesson plans, and related training aids covering assigned material related to the flight simulation training.
8.
Review current training material and edit for consistency with training policies and guidelines.
9.
Collaborate with associates and subject matter experts to ensure the course material addresses the training needs.
10.
Independently researches, interprets and adapts source material to the instruction requirement.
11.
Review Training Support Packets, lesson plans, manuals, reference text to ensure consistency and currency is with the U.S. Army Aviation Branch.
12.
Examine course material to ensure context is up to date for the subject matter.
13.
Review course evaluations/critiques to identify any issues or areas of training that needs improvement.
14.
Provide recommendations for changes to training course lesson plans and training aids.
15.
Establish learning objectives, instructional methods and techniques, training materials and aids course instruction.
16.
Advise on the performance management program to include areas such as content of performance plans, review of ratings and related award nominations to ensure regulatory compliance and consistency.
17.
Plan work to be accomplished, sets priorities, and prepare schedules for work completion.
18.
Establish performance standards and evaluate work performance of employees.
19.
Coordinate with managers in areas of workload forecasting, position structures, and recruitment plans to achieve current and future organizational objectives.
