Perform historic property identification field work, such as that done through historic property surveys and inventories including the physical condition assessment and identification of deficiencies in conditions and the physical integrity of cultural landscapes including their features such as historic structures and vegetation.

15. Evaluate and document the significance and integrity of historic districts, historic structures, and/or archaeological sites in the US Mid-Atlantic region following the criteria established the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) and/or National Historic Landmark (NHL) program.

16. Understand and apply Federal laws and regulations governing historic preservation, including Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 (as amended).

17. Assist with, plan, and execute aspects of cultural landscape studies such as cultural landscape reports, cultural landscape inventories, Historic American Landscape Surveys (HALS) and the like.
