Specialized Experience is defined as experience that has provided you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of a GS-13 Medical Administration Officer. Qualifying Specialized Experience includes, but is not limited to:
  • Experience assisting with directing the management of the program for the Business Office/MAS/HAS, performing or overseeing the full range of human resources and program requirements.
  • Experience providing program management and personnel administration of the Business Office/MAS/HAS.
  • Experience directing the development of personnel documentation and personnel actions for the assigned sections of the Business Office/MAS/HAS.
  • Experience with budget formulation, justification, and execution; financial management; and financial reporting.
  • Experience interacting and negotiating on adjustments or reprogramming in support of major program changes or requirements with other staff members of the medical center when assigned these duties.
