Design and conduct environmental health related informational seminars to military and civilian personnel, to include local schools.

Coordinate with various state and federal agencies for further chemical analyses, if required.

Review, update, and inspect hospital Medical Waste Program to ensure compliance with Army and EPA standards.

Collect water samples to determine potability of installation water system.
9.
Conduct and interpret chemical and bacteriological tests on water samples to determine potability of installation water system.
10.
Assess and review the installation water-sampling plan.
11.
Conduct and interpret blueprints review on all new construction projects on the installation to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
12.
Conduct pre-opening inspections and blueprint design review for compliance with regulations.
13.
Identify potential public health hazards to make recommendations for corrective actions.
14.
Conduct periodic facility inspections to ensure environmental health compliance.
15.
Monitor preparation of all potable water lines during construction to ensure standards are met.
16.
Inspect instruments and/or equipment used for examinations to schedule maintenance and/or repairs.
17.
Generate violations and/or deficiency reports for senior supervisors for corrective actions.
18.
Conduct procurement and budget activities for the hospital's Environmental Protection Funds.
19.
Conduct and interpret blueprints review on all new construction projects on the installation to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
