Thank you for your interest in a Social Worker (Family Advocacy) position with the Department of the Army. Your resume and the responses you provide to this assessment questionnaire will be used to determine if you meet the basic eligibility and qualification requirements for this position. Your responses are subject to verification. Please review your responses for accuracy before you submit your application.

1. The Social Worker occupation has specific educational requirements which apply to all positions. From the options below, select the one which describes your educational background. Education must have been completed in a U.S. college, university, or other educational institution that has been accredited by one of the accrediting agencies or associations recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

A. I have successfully completed the requirements for at least a Master's degree in Social Work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts).

B. I do not possess the education described above.

2. Select the one statement that best describes the experience that you possess that demonstrates your ability to perform the work of Social Worker (Family Advocacy) at the GS-12 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal service.

A. I have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes in a family advocacy environment, assessing incidents of abuse, providing counseling to abusers or victims, and developing treatment plans to those involved in abuse.

B. I do not possess the experience described above.
