Eligibilities
1. All on-board National Guard Title 32 Excepted Technicians within the state for which you are applying (Title 32 Permanent and Excepted Indefinite).  Are you a current on-board National Guard Title 32 Excepted Technician within the state for which this position is being advertised?

Preferences
1. This is an indefinite excepted position open nationwide including, members assigned to the Texas Army National Guard. This position required dual status membership in a compatible military assignment within the military grade specified in the Texas Army National Guard. (32 U.S.C. 709) Incumbent will be required to wear the military uniform. Acceptance of an excepted position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment. Indefinite appointments are used when there is a need for a temporary position to extend beyond one year or management expects the position to become permanent at some time in the future. Competitive procedures must be used when filling a position on an indefinite basis. This position is not recommended for current Permanent technicians as they will lose their PERMANENT TENURE status and convert to INDEFINITE TENURE status.
