Your Notification of Personnel Action, Standard Form 50 will show the UIC number in block 41 (e.g., "UIC:XXXXX) AND
Your Notification of Personnel Action, Standard Form 50 will reflect career or career-conditional: Tenure 1 or 2 in box 24 AND
Your Notification of Personnel Action, Standard Form 50 must reflect your status in the competitive service: Position Occupied is 1 in box 34 (unless you are on a permanent VRA appointment then it will show a 2 in box 34).

PLEASE NOTE: If you are applying for a higher grade than the grade that you currently hold and the SF-50 you submit to support your eligibility claim has an effective date within the past year, it will not clearly show that you meet the one-year time-in-grade requirement. Be sure to provide an additional SF-50 which clearly demonstrates you meet the time-in-grade requirements (appropriate SF-50s include Promotions, Within Rate/Grade Increases (WRI/WGI), and appointment/conversion SF-50s with an effective date more than one-year old).

I am exercising my preference eligibility for positions within the local commuting area of my sponsor's current duty station. NOTE 1: Military spouses are eligible for one permanent noncompetitive appointment using their preference eligibility for the duration of the active duty sponsor's assignment to a permanent duty station, as long as the military spouse has not declined or accepted a permanent Federal or non-appropriated fund position in the commuting area of the sponsor's current duty location. This is an emergency essential (E-E) position under Forward Deployed Combat Repair (FDCR) and the selection is contingent upon signing an agreement to continue to perform the duties of the position subsequent to the onset of a crisis until relieved by proper authority.
