Assessment 1
Specialized experience for the GS-13: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as:
-Making final determinations for the issuance of security clearances or public trust certifications based on information from referrals and background investigations; AND
-Providing expert advice, and technical authority on the development and interpretation of personnel suitability, security guidelines, policies, and regulations; AND
-Investigating, fact-finding, and evaluating practices, techniques pertaining to personnel security; AND
-Planning and implementing security activities, structuring security protection initiatives with the Intelligence Community.
