I am a graduate of a school of law accredited by the American Bar Association and an active member in good standing of the bar of state, territory of the United States, the District of Columbia, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Must have first professional law degree (LL.B or JD) or the second professional law degree (LL.M.)
2.
For GS-0905-12: I have the first professional law degree (LL.B. or JD), or the second professional law degree (LL.M.), AND either one year of professional legal experience (equivalent to the GS-11 grade level) or one year of judicial clerkship.
3.
For GS-0905-13: I have the first professional law degree (LL.B. or JD), or the second professional law degree (LL.M.), AND either two years of specialized professional legal experience that is commensurate with the duties and responsibilities of the position or two years of judicial clerkship.
