2. All Registered Nurses must have graduated from a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate State agency AND accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN formerly the NLNAC) OR the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) at the time of graduation. In cases of graduates of foreign schools of professional nursing; possession of current, full, active, and unrestricted registration will meet the requirement of graduation from an approved school. Also, the completion of coursework equivalent to a nursing degree in a MSN Bridge Program that qualifies for professional nursing registration constitutes the completion of an approved course of study. Do you meet the above requirements?

A. Yes, my nursing degree was accredited by ACEN or CCNE at the time of my graduation.

B. Yes, I have not yet graduated, but I am currently in a VA trainee or VA-sponsored training program that allows me to be eligible as a Health Professional Trainee (HPT). I understand that I must attach proof of this HPT eligibility either through the HPSP scholarship letter, SF-50 showing my internship, or other HPT identifying documents.

C. Yes, I have not yet graduated, but I am currently enrolled in an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing degree program completing final course work.

D. Yes, I completed coursework in an MSN Bridge Program that constitutes the completion of an approved course of study.

E. Yes, I graduated from a foreign school of professional nursing and currently possess a full and unrestricted RN license.

F. No, my education does not meet one of the categories above.

4. Do you possess a current, full, active and unrestricted registration as a registered nurse in a State, Territory, or commonwealth (i.e. Puerto Rico) of the U.S. or in the District of Columbia, or anticipate obtaining RN licensure by 9/30/2021?

B. Yes, I anticipate obtaining RN nursing license by 9/30/2021.

C. No, I do not possess RN license, or it is currently Temporary or Restricted.
