Eligibilities

Do you have experience with preparing surfaces (i.e., metal, wood and glass) by removing rust, paint, and loose particles?

Do you have experience with appling rustproof compound to areas such as splash panels, quarter panels, seams structural members, and underbody construction?

Do you have the ability to read and interpret directions that relate to mixture, use, and application of various kinds of coating materials, solvents, and precoating agents?

Do you have knowledge of appling Chemical Agent Reactive Coating (CARC) materials in accordance with specifications and dimensions?

Do you have at least 12 months of experience or training which demonstrates the candidate's knowledge of standard surface preparation and coating methods and techniques; experience must demonstrate the skill to sand, wire brush, scrape, spackle, putty, prep surfaces and select appropriate tools to complete assigned tasks; experience must also demonstrate the skill to brush on, roll on, and spray coating materials, and apply other related methods and techniques, such as cutting-in techniques and dip and overflow methods; experience which required the applicant to interpret and follow technical orders, specifications and publications?
