This section will be used to determine if you possess the basic requirements needed to qualify for an Information Technology Specialist (APPSW), GG-2210-13. Failure to respond to this question will result in an ineligible rating.

Develop, create, maintain, and code new (or modify existing) cyber capabilities, computer applications, software, or specialized utility programs.

Knowledge of interpreted and compiled computer languages and low-level languages e.g. assembly, operating systems, cyber security concepts, principles, standards, methods, techniques, practices, and procedures.

Ability to develop secure software according to secure software deployment methodologies, tools, and practices and tailor code analysis for application-specific concerns, while foreseeing the impact of changing technology.

Lead technical teams developing, assessing, and fielding cyber, computer, and network tools, systems, and capabilities associated with offensive, defensive, and command and control cyberspace operations.

Skill in applying project and program management techniques to manage complex issues or problems, and modify standard practices and techniques to solve complex interrelated problems.

Define problems and develops and coordinates study plans.

Lead selection of tools to be used by team members, establishes methodologies, and directs techniques to be used by the team to achieve event objectives and analyze data collected.
14.
Oversee planning and execution of tactical and operational-level cyberspace training and exercise events.
15.
Attend meetings and conferences and performs administrative actions to document development, training, and exercise activities associated with new and modified cyberspace capabilities.

Perform pre-award and post-award contract research covering cyberspace and network products and services development.
17.
Ability to produce highly technical reports, position papers, and briefings.
