Perform quality assurance inspections related to the Subsistence Prime Vendor (SPV) contractor's performance.

Arrange for health inspections at the Subsistence Prime Vendor (SPV) facilities and equipment.

Monitor the amount of subsistence on hand to fulfill customer needs.

Distinguish proper food handling and storage practices for fresh, dry and frozen food items, including temperature controls, and approved storage facilities.

Compare varying product specifications and classifications to their labels and vendors' catalogs for contract/specifications compliance.

Ensure Subsistence Prime Vendor (SPV) meets all contractually specific technical requirements.

Monitor contractual obligations related to the transportation of subsistence items from the continental United States (CONUS) to Subsistence Prime Vendor (SPV) facilities.

Coordinate actions with the Contracting Officer and comply with written delegation of authority (Contracting Officer's Representative delegation).

Prepare a variety of narrative reports, defend findings, and present recommendations to address quality control inspections, customer inquiries, and contractor non-compliance.

Develop standard operating procedures for subsistence functions at Prime Vendor sites.
13.
Ensure contract compliance related to technical requirements and customer service, by making daily contact with Prime Vendor supervisors.
