For the GS-7 Intermediate Care Technician (ICT) you must possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-6 grade level in the normal line of progression; your resume/application must reflect this experience. Specialized experience may include, but is not limited to: 1) Patient screening; 2) Assisting in behavioral/psychiatric situations in an outpatient setting; 3) Assisting outpatient licensed staff with the delivery of care to patients with complex, specialized, and potentially life-threatening situations; 4) Follow-up care; 5) Specimen collection; 6) Wounds care and Equipment & surgical Instrumentation set-up. 2. Performs observation-based screening and collection of patient information in collaboration with licensed personnel.
