* Knowledge of clinic based ophthalmic surgical assisting;
* Knowledge of eye anatomy and physiology;
* Knowledge of medication effects and proper instillation in the eye;
* Knowledge of optics; and
* Knowledge of proper cleaning and maintenance of clinic equipment.
