GS-7 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Do you have one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (GS-6) that equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities (KSA's) to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled? Specialized experience includes: Knowledge and familiarity with university libraries, health science databases, and other scientific information resources; Knowledge of and experience in carrying out data collection and statistical analysis, or ability to learn, especially qualitative approaches; Knowledge of research investigatory processes, study interviewing, compilation of data, and development and reporting of recommendation and findings; Skill in working with research participants throughout the research process including following protocols, enrolling and interviewing patients, and obtaining informed consent; Knowledge of health services research and study protocols, or ability to learn, in order to perform administrative tasks in support of the research protocols, including enrolling consenting patients, assembling information for reports, maintaining records, and responding to communications and inquiries; and strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
