1. The Conciliation Specialist position requires availability for significant and frequent travel, sometimes on short notice for response to high level community tension and/or civil disorder. This position generally requires up to 25% travel but may exceed if tensions or conflicts occur. (limit characters)
2. The Conciliation Specialist position requires work in a variety of environments. The work involves moderate risks that require special safety precautions, such as dealing with persons who are stressed, hostile, or are in volatile environments. Work may be conducted in other venues including public or private buildings, outdoor public or private facilities, including parks, stadiums or streets. The nature of the work may expose the incumbent to situations of possible personal danger and/or risk of personal injury as the result of tension or conflict associated with disputing groups.
