1. General Experience: Do you possess experiences gained through civilian and/or military technical training schools in human resources business programs and have a validated understanding of the basic principles and concepts of this occupational series and grade? (limit characters)

Specialized Experience: GS-07 Level - Do you possess at least one year of basic knowledge and working experience in personnel programs gained as a volunteer, in a classroom, or as a trainee; have basic knowledge competency of human resources business elements and can discuss terminology, concepts, merit principles, and issues related to this competency; experienced in using reference and resource materials and experienced in program functions such as, maintaining personnel records, counseling, or classification and assignments; experiences may include performing personnel functions associated with preparing and maintaining position descriptions and manual records, personnel classification or usage, quality force management, managing personnel records and researching record data; experienced in operating a computer, utilizing multiple computer programs, and performing keyboard functions; and must have at least three months experience, education, or training which provided a basic working knowledge of personnel programs? Specialized Experience: GS-09 Level - Do you possess at least one year of specialized experiences at the GS-07 level or the equivalent which provided a working knowledge of National Guard missions, organizations, and federal civilian or military personnel programs; experiences in executing personnel programs and Human Resources Information Systems, as applicable to the specific position and its position description; have knowledge and understanding of the personnel and manpower core competencies: Organization Structure; Requirements Determination; a working knowledge of organizational structures; manpower standards; manpower resources; manpower data systems; or, commercial services to include strategic sourcing; experienced in performing personnel program requirements that involve advising supervisors and managers; classification and position management? 4. Implement standardized and benchmark position descriptions for a variety of professional, administrative, technical, trades and labor occupations to include positions for which no classification or job grading exist. (limit characters)

7. Prepare and classify developmental positions and amendments to standard position descriptions as required. (limit characters)
8. Evaluate positions by reference to the applicable Office of Personnel Management Position Classification/Job Grading Standards procedures and determining pay plan, occupational series, grade, and title. (limit characters)
9. Advise supervisors and employees on grade determining factors, position design concepts, supervisory ratio, and impact on other positions. (limit characters)
10. Review requests for personnel and position actions to determine impact on position classification and position management matters. (limit characters)
11. Perform quality reviews of information maintained and final products to ensure correctness of data. (limit characters)
12. Ensure position structures achieve the optimum balance between economy, efficiency, skills utilization, and employee development. (limit characters)
13. Research discrepancies/rejects and work with the appropriate personnel to resolve problems. (limit characters)
14. Ensure timely implementation and initiate action to resolve problems or conflicts. (limit characters)
