The applicant must be a State-Certified (Certified Residential or Certified General) appraiser with credentials based on the minimum certification criteria issued by the Appraiser Qualifications Board (AQB) of the Appraisal Foundation. Additionally, the applicant must not be: listed on the GSA's Excluded Parties List system (SAM); listed on the system Award Management (LDP) list; listed on HUD's Credit Alert Verification Reporting System (CAIVRS); or ineligible to perform FHA appraisals due to FHA sanctions.
