Applicant must have experience and/or training of sufficient scope and quality to independently perform the duties typically required of this position of a Pre-Press Supervisor. These duties include distributing work assignments; explaining and ensuring work performed in section meet required quality levels; leading crews in completing projects; providing informal training to other journeypersons in all phases of the Digital Pre Press Section; ensuring production schedules are met daily identifying work plans, appropriate personnel, materials and equipment; and recommend solutions to the supervisor for action; developing work plans to ensure timely completion of work; and performing administrative and personnel management functions.
