1. Are you a current Farm Production and Conservation (Farm Production and Conservation Business Center, Natural Resources Conservation Service, Farm Service Agency and Risk Management Agency) employee who currently holds a career or career conditional appointment? (limit characters)

Are you a current USDA employee who meets the definition of a "surplus" or "displaced" employee, in which received official notice that your job is no longer needed or that you will lose your job by Reduction-in-Force (RIF)? If yes, confirm:

• you are located in the same local commuting area as the vacancy;  AND,

17. Provide leadership for identification of research and demonstration needs in natural resource conservation programs to address scientific and technological gaps, emerging programs and strategic plans, goals and outcomes. (limit characters)
18. Complete scientific literature reviews and stay current with scientific research and developments, and disseminates applicable science for incorporation into NRCS's 9-step conservation planning process. (limit characters)
