9.
Analyzing, computing, compiling, and quality-assuring stream-flow data.
10.
Planning and collecting fish samples using electroshocking equipment and methods and analyzing data for hydrologic studies.

Work cooperatively with a wide range of Federal, state, regional, county, and local agencies, universities, and volunteer monitoring groups to develop a diverse program of investigative studies that address important water-resources issues.
12.
Give clear, logical, and effective presentations or briefings before technical and non-technical audiences.
13.
Collaborates with water specialists and specialists in other scientific disciplines to enhance technology transfer and to apply new hydrologic research findings to field needs.

Apply knowledge of environmental quality and environmental health in representing the organization for the purpose of developing long term cooperative working relationships that support the missions and responsibilities of the organization and external agencies.

Authors scientific interpretive reports describing scientific findings, interpretations, conclusions, and recommendations resulting from complex hydrologic investigations.
