3. Conduct workshops and/or training sessions to non-experts in realty on the development of legal documents for conservation easement programs.

4. Apply knowledge of appraisal principles and practices to administratively review appraisal reports of property before and after encumbrance with a conservation easement particularly where there are numerous comparable properties.

5. Review a conservation easement's configuration and boundary for conformance with program requirements and real estate principles using deeds, surveys, land descriptions, maps and mapping software.

6. Review and summarize title reports, title commitments, title policies and associated documents to evaluate limitations and risks associated with acquisition of subject property and brief non-realty staff including leadership on potential impact to agency on mission.

7. Conduct real property activities such as working with title companies to close negotiating easement deeds for programs.

8. Conduct easement closings, using federal, state, or industry (such as Land Trust Alliance Standard and Practices) land acquisition standards; complete project close out and maintain records.

9. Working in a virtual team with other realty staff and non-realty staff to ensure the efficient evaluation, acquisition, and management of conservation easements or similar interests in real property.

10. Represent the organization in meetings and on committees or work-groups concerned with various aspects of real property programs, services, and policies.

11. Assist with developing statements of work and standard operating procedures specific case procedures to ensure compliance with a variety of acquisition statutes or regulations, real estate principles and policies guidelines.

12. Prepare and present reports, briefings or workshops at conferences, and meetings on conservation easement related topics.

13. Work with support and oversight staff, management and peers to coordinate responses to internal and external audits and reports.

14. Prepare documents and transmittals to title insurance companies, surveyors, appraisers, entities, office of general council and landowners as appropriate.

15. Develop and/or review modifications to easement deeds for compliance with program purposes and policy.

16. Draft closing instructions for closing agent or attorney and prepare all documents required to successfully execute a conservation easement transaction.

17. Perform research and analysis on property issues in order to provide support and guidance in real estate laws, concepts, and principles relating to the acquisition, administration, and due diligence enforcement of conservation easement.

18. Analyze and evaluate the administrative aspects of substantive, mission-oriented programs administered within the organization to assess and implement contracting requirements for support of the programs following policy and procedures.

19. Analyze communications on controversial and sensitive matters to assure conformance with policy.

20. Communicate orally and in writing to provide consultation in the area of conservation easement programs to customers, managers, and interested parties.
