3. Independently provides direct patient care services related to patient education, selection, ordering, verification, troubleshooting, adjustment and repair of ophthalmic lenses and eyewear. (limit characters)
4. Measurements of interpupillary distances, optical centers and multifocal or progressive addition. (limit characters)
5. Adjust eyeglasses for comfortable fit and proper alignment of optical centers and segment heights for optimal visual performance and will instruct/educate patients on how to wear and care for eyeglasses. (limit characters)
6. Repair broken or defective eyeglasses for patients. (limit characters)
7. Will triage patient concerns by manual or automated lensometry verification, troubleshooting all optical issues and verify with that eyeglass fabrication is completed as prescribed. (limit characters)

9. Obtain a customer's previous record, or verify a prescription, with the examining optometrist or ophthalmologist by obtaining release of information forms as needed. (limit characters)

11. Following appropriate infection control guidelines; clean/disinfect equipment and sample frames, use proper hand hygiene between patient encounters and maintain optical space, including frame displays and optical fitting area. (limit characters)
