At the GG-11 grade level you are required to possess a current Federal Acquisition Certificate in Contracting (FAC-C) Level I or the equivalent Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification; and you are required to obtain a FAC-C Level II Certification upon completion of 24 months of your initial appointment. Promotion to the full performance level of grade GG-12 requires a FAC-C Level II Certification or the DAWIA certification equivalent.
