I have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 level in the Federal service which includes managing, directing, coordinating, and overseeing applied biomedical research and implementation of laboratory or epidemiologic analyses, particularly molecular epidemiologic analyses in infectious diseases programs and outbreaks including molecular characterization and phylogenetic analyses of pathogens which integrate laboratory and epidemiologic data to effectively achieve public health impact.

Describe your degree of expertise and prominence in developing public health biomedical analytic approaches and/or informatics infrastructure, to include accomplishments you have gained in the field. Include a description of any molecular epidemiological work you have performed or overseen.

Describe your experience in leading an effective infectious disease research program to support epidemiological investigations, and laboratory/informatics infrastructure and expertise, to include experience with an extramural program.
