In addition to meeting the Basic Education requirement, I have one year of Specialized Experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-11 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of Specialized Experience would typically include, but are not limited to: Providing technical assistance and overseeing and managing engineering shops and production control function; providing guidance on standards and code requirements; developing engineered solutions to technical problems; performing extensive mathematical and technical calculations in engineering necessary to accomplish engineering functions for programs essential to daily operations and training; responsible for the acquisition, construction, maintenance, repair, and operating of real property facilities; and preparing or directing the preparation of engineering specifications, and independent cost estimates. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the GS-11 grade/level position or equivalent in the federal service.

Perform extensive mathematical and technical calculations in Civil Engineering.

Establish metrics and utilize analysis systems to ensure actions are timely and reviewed at critical points.
