Appointment to this position is subject to a two year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315. While probationary the incumbent can be terminated with limited appeal rights. Are you willing to serve a two year probationary period?

This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 50% of the time. Are you willing and able to travel away from your permanent duty station up to 50% of the time?

This position requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain a U.S. Coast Guard License or Endorsement for Marine Electrician or Tankerman within 24 months from the date of hire or entrance into the position. Are you willing to obtain and maintain the required U.S. Coast Guard Licenses or endorsement for Marine Electrician and Tankerman within 24 months of date of hire or entrance into the position?
