Manage, visualize, and analyze data with technical computing software such as GIS, MATLAB, and Python programming language to statistically explore data sets and make graphical displays. Understanding of and coding with these coding languages within cloud hosting environments.

Develop novel algorithms to extract quantitative data from still and video imagery, such as, sea ice cover and movement, morphometrics, water quality, and wave statistics that define effective research approaches including the collection, analyses, and interpretation of data and model.

Apply knowledge of sediment transport and estuarine hydrodynamics to collect, analyze, model, and interpret data on estuarine sediment transport.

Ability to apply spectral and time series analysis methods to oceanographic data, to modify these methods when required, and to synthesize multiple data types to address environmental questions.

Knowledge of techniques used in collecting oceanographic data.

Ability to develop, build, and install Argus-style camera systems for remote sensing, including telecommunications and live-streaming data.

Understanding and knowledge of collecting data relevant to sediment transport to and erosion from marshes and other coastal and marine data such as bathymetry.
12.
Refine techniques for and conduct measurements of sediment flux in marsh tidal creeks and integrate results with other parts of marsh resilience studies.

Communicate and collaborate with technical and scientific staff as part of a team.
14.
Program, deploy, and maintain moored oceanographic instruments to measure current velocity, pressure, temperature, salinity, and turbidity in the water column.
