Apply knowledge of hydraulics to describe and define surface-water systems.

Calculate peak flows using indirect methods such as slope-area, step backwater, culvert computations or other methods.
11.
Provide advice, interpretation, and training to other scientists in the application or modification of established standards, methods, and procedures.
12.
Collaborate with others as an effective team member to accomplish broad goals of interdisciplinary projects or programs.
13.
Provide leadership of surface-water hydrologic investigations.
