Assessment 1
For the GS-12, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
-Experience determining the nature and condition of archival records requiring stabilization and conservation treatment;
AND
-Experience carrying out conservation treatment of photographs and preparing written treatment proposals for records, including selection of treatment options, procedures, methods and techniques, and materials to be used;

-Experience advising others on current preservation practices and policies related to the care, housing, and handling of archival records
