4. Operate, maintain, and process data from hydroacoustic equipment such as Acoustic Doppler current Profilers (ADCPs) for collection of discharge measurements in natural channels.

5. Operate common construction tools such as chain saws, welders, skill saws, cutting torches, drill presses, etc.

6. Install automatic temperature sensors, crest-stage gages, continuous stage-discharge gages and automated water samplers in remote or gaged locations.

7. Run routine levels at gaging stations to establish or check gage datum.

8. Develop stage-discharge and/or velocity index curves and ratings.

9. Compute and analyze streamflow data using Aquarius.

11. Measure field water quality parameters such as pH, water temperature, specific conductance, dissolved oxygen and turbidity using in-situ multi-parameter water quality data sonde.
