Plans/coordinates, assists and conducts on- site physical inspections/audits.

Conducts document and data reviews, personnel interviews, and incident investigations.

Reviews site vulnerability analysis of chemical facilities as a member of a regional field team.

Assists and/or leads in the production of field reports and briefings following inspections, compliance assistance visits, incident investigations and other events as requested or deemed necessary by senior officials.

Identifies potential areas/processes of compliance vulnerability and risk.

Develops/implements corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues, and provides general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future.
8.
Provides support for and maintains cognizance of the enforcement of administrative sanctions, including the termination of chemical facility operations.
9.
Participates in enforcement action planning and post execution operation phases and reports.
10.
Institutes and maintains an effective compliance communication program for the organization, including promoting use of the Compliance Hotline.
11.
Exhibits heightened awareness of risk based performance standards, and understanding of new and existing compliance issues and related policies and procedures.
12.
Provides specific detailed and accurate chemical facility inspection data for inclusion into reports.
13.
Briefs senior leadership in supporting possible preventative, corrective and/or administrative action.
14.
Assists with the preparation of conducting inspections, vetting compliance documents, and processes letters and requests from the regulated community, and other processes as required.
15.
Functions as a regional point of contact for the Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards regulation.
16.
Serves as senior point of contact to chemical industry private sector officials, emergency response teams and law enforcement officials such as other Federal, State, local and tribal agencies and officials.
