You must answer this question which addresses the qualification requirements for this position in order to be qualified/eligible for this Gardener, WG-5003-08 position. Maintain turf at the proper height to maintain health, reduce water use, and reduce stress.

Perform turf restoration including top dressing, slice-seeding, aerating, and grading.

Prepare soil beds, flower gardens, hedges, walkways, garden fixtures and other planting areas considering the individual needs and characteristics of plants, shrubs, ornamental and fruit trees.

Transplant trees, shrubs, flowers and other plants by digging proper sized holes and preparing the soil to receive the plants.

Monitor the landscape for symptoms and signs of diseases, insects, cultural problems, and selects, and recommends appropriate treatments.
