Represent the organization on matters affecting the Design and Creative Placemaking fields to advise on field-related issues.

Provide strategic leadership regarding funding and programming for Design and Creative Placemaking.

Manage a team of staff with regular tasks (may include: reviewing grant applications, assembling panels, and executing leadership initiatives) to meet organizational objectives.

Collaborate on the formulation of regulations and policies (including budget recommendations) to enhance the Design and Creative Placemaking fields.

Collaborate on strategic partnerships (may include: partnerships with philanthropy, national and regional networks, and/or federal agencies) that engage artists and designers to advance healthy, equitable communities.

Work within a team to provide professional leadership and guidance on the development of programs, partnerships, and leadership initiatives.

Communicate policy developments to internal and external stakeholders in order to shape the Design and Creative Placemaking fields.
11.
Prepare oral and multimedia presentations on Design and Creative Placemaking matters for meetings at the national level.
12.
Cultivate relationships with leaders in Design and Creative Placemaking and related fields to keep abreast of trends and innovative developments.
13.
Create written materials on Design and Creative Placemaking matters for meetings at the national level.
14.
Provide written briefs to management on the content of meetings and necessary follow-up actions.
15.
Prepare written responses to inquiries from external stakeholders, including the public, in line with the organization's mission.
16.
Provide written communications on policy development that may have an impact upon artistic or administrative operations of organizations and individuals in the Design and Creative Placemaking fields.
