This interdisciplinary position may be filled in any of the following series: Fish Biologist GS-0482, or Wildlife Biologist GS-0486. Provide guidance for the development of wildlife and fisheries management plans, wildlife and fisheries habitat management plans, and protection and management of aquatic resources.

Provide leadership and develops the annual program of work for assigned area and ensures program objectives are considered for the wildlife and fisheries programs.

Coordinate project work with other Unit personnel taking into consideration wildlife and fisheries habitat requirements in relation to other multiple-use management of forest and range activities.

Execute administrative studies and surveys to obtain information on the effects of forest management on wildlife populations, harvest, and movements.
