QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:GS-05
You must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-4) in the Federal government. Specialized experience for this position includes; Experience that equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position and is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be qualified you should have experience with applicable programs, policies and procedures to analyze and evaluate information, interpret guidance, draw conclusions, coordinate studies or projects, and provide effective management/program support; Knowledge of work functions of assigned area and familiarity with objectives to identify problems and gather information. OR
A Bachelors degree or four (4) years of education above high school in any field of study from an accredited college or university. OR
A combination of education and experience equivalent to that described above.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: GS-06
You must have 1 year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: Experience that equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be qualifying, your experience must be sufficient to demonstrate extensive knowledge of applicable program policies and procedures to analyze and evaluate information, interpret guidance, draw conclusions, coordinate studies or projects, and provide effective management/program support; Thorough knowledge of work functions of assigned area and familiarity with objectives to identify problems and gather information.
TIME-IN-GRADE REQUIREMENTS: GS-6
Under merit promotion procedures, Federal applicants must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade to satisfy time-in-grade restrictions contained in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F. Time is credited based on calendar time served in a grade, regardless of the number of days or hours worked. If you currently hold or have previously held a position at the same (or equivalent) or higher grade/level in the Federal government as of this announcement, you will meet the TIME IN GRADE REQUIREMENTS.

To be qualifying, your experience must be sufficient to demonstrate extensive knowledge of applicable programs, policies and procedures to analyze and evaluate information, interpret guidance, draw conclusions, coordinate studies or projects, and provide effective management/program support; Ability to coordinate, or advise on work efforts; discuss findings and resolve problems; Experience with tasks such as extracting information, assembling reports, and administratively monitoring contractor compliance; Thorough knowledge of work functions of assigned area and familiarity with objectives to identify problems and gather information.
TIME-IN-GRADE REQUIREMENTS: GS-7
